How much to get my own Book
Published?

I make all of the books by hand in my house (print, trim, saddle-stitch, perfect bind)
*unless a more sophisticated binding is required.

I look for short run poets or anthologies, 200 or less per order.

Pricing is in two stages:

1)Setup The setup fee is non-refundable and due before we start.

2)Printing Print fees are due before print and are also non-refundable. But I do want you to walk away pleased with your books, so we'll work together to make sure the book you want is the book you get. I'll do whatever I'm capable of doing to make your book and make both of us happy.

BOOKS
Single author chapbook setup fee: $65 non-refundable
Anthology chapbook setup fee: $85 non-refundable
Perfect Binding setup fee: $200.00
Perfect Binding Anthology setup fee: $250.00
ISBN and Barcode $50.00 (optional)

Standard chap book print rate: $4.00 per book (no minimum no maximum)
Standard perfect bound print rate: $8.00 per book (no minimum no maximum)

RUSH ORDERS
Rush orders will incur an additional $50.00 upfront charge.

COLOR PRINTING
I do all of my color printing on an OkiData C5100n Color LED printer.  This machine gives fantastic reproduction, often print quality if I'm supplied with a sharp enough image.  The machine is expensive to run, though, and my color printing prices must reflect this expense.

Of course, a page is one side of an 8½ x 11 sheet of paper, with the paper or card stock supplied by me.   

POSTAGE
I use USPS Flat Rate 2nd Day shipping.

• or $13 per box for the new "Large Flat Rate" box
• I'll use as few boxes as possible to fit your books.

BULK DISCOUNTS
Some folks have asked for bulk discounts on their books.  Since I don't overcharge, I don't have the profit margin to reduce for bulk, but I've recently found a printer who does a great job for a reasonable price.  Bulk pricing will be quoted per job.  I'll collect your money, pay the printer, then ship to you when they finish the job.
